I don’t think I have too much to say about this evening, whether it be the fault of the Radio Bean cocktail menu or just too busy taking pictures and enjoying nice music right before a hectic grouping of Holidays – but I headed back down to the bean to capture photos of Rangus and Assorted Fruit. Originally Burly Girlies, a pretty hyped newer punk band, was supposed to be on this lineup but sadly had to drop off.
First up was Rangus who are somewhere between folk-punk / punk / rock / I don’t even know but they’re good! Lead by Veronica Russell, this band has plenty of energy and flexibility in their represented genres. All around very pleased to catch them!

Following Rangus there was a quick break, and Assorted Fruit was (were?) up on the stage to send it home. Lead by Travis William, this four piece put on a great show with plenty of energy – particular high notes were when Travis was moving around the stage without a guitar demanding sticking to the mic stand.
